  • UCHIDA’s New Paper Folding Machine The Aerofold Plus. Its belt suction feeding system can fold up to SRA3 size of various types of papers, such as offset, coated, art, digital printed papers and more.
  • Uchida's Aerofold Plus automatic air feed folder perfectly suited for digital work. 30 custom folds and non-standard paper sizes can be stored in memory. Top feed, adjustable air suction feed system, suitable for digitally printed and coated stocks. Pre-programmed with 6 standard folds. Stores 30 custom folds in memory. One-touch memory keys for custom folds.
  • Non-standard paper sizes can be stored in memory in Uchida Aerofold Plus. Control panel includes LED 4 digit counter with batch and total functions. Test button folds 2 sheets for inspection. Automatically senses and displays paper size. Extended exit tray for neat stacking of folded sheets. Automatic feed table ensures optimum feed pressure. Automatic conveyor belt and self-setting exit rollers ensure smooth ejection of folded paper.
  • Single sheet feeding automatically maintained for different weights of paper. Display alert and audible signal in case of incorrect operation. Skew and micro-adjustment dials. All-metal construction.Optional micro-perforator, and scorer. UL and C UL approved.

Folding / creasing – differences

What’s the difference between folding and paper creasing?

Folding is a process of folding paper sheets to produce brochures, notebooks, and other paper editions from thin paper. The fold line is called folding.

The difference from the creasing.
Folding differs from creasing that do not use pressure with a blunt knife on the media, but simply folded cartons. Furthermore, folding is not intended for bending of paper with a high density of 170 gr./m² and upwards (there paper is described as cardboard) for this purpose using a process called – creasing.  Ad hoc basis is possible, however, to crease cardboard high density
