  • TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO § TCF375
    Perforating, creasing in one operation Perforating longwise and across the sheet, time perforation in both directions as well as professionally creasing are the key features of the TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO. This new innovation fulfils many wishes of the industry. The innovative creasing and perforating system features a patented, interchangeable tool bar system. The tools are electronically detected and the relevant pressure is automatically set.
  • It employs the unique Multigraf Swingbar System for creasing without cracking. The sheets don’t stop during the creasing process. The automated setup of the crease depth with 3 different positions is another fantastic feature of the TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO § TCF375. This new technology allows for the speeding up of the creasing process.
  • Rotary tools. Up to four perforating or
    slitting heads are available; all of them plug and play. The setup will be done within just a few seconds on the touch-screen control panel. Additional tools may be stored in the especially designed parking slots.   • Multigraf’s inspiration for this new product line was given by its name - TOUCHLINE. Press the button and off you go! By simply entering the necessary information through the touch-screen, the machine creates all settings automatically. A small, centralised, multifunctional operating panel offers all necessary functions for a fast production start.
  • TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO § TCF375 is equipped with a pile feeder using vacuum belt technology and air knife control for a perfect sheet separation. There is no additional pump needed. This offers less noise emissions in a print room environment. The maximum sheet size is 375 x 1050 mm.
  • Due to the interchangeable tools, the new TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO § TCF375 can be diverted from a creasing into a perforating machine or vice versa within no time. In conjunction with the on-line creasing and folding machine TOUCHLINE CP375 TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO will be able to produce even more complex jobs on line; perforating, slitting, creasing all in one operation. These electronically controlled knives are also used as deflector bars, contacting the leading edge only.
  • TOUCHLINE CP375 DUO § TCF375 can be used as an integrated creaser/perforator performing both functions in one single pass, as a stand-alone creaser or as a perforator when no other operation is required.

Folding / creasing – differences

What’s the difference between folding and paper creasing?

Folding is a process of folding paper sheets to produce brochures, notebooks, and other paper editions from thin paper. The fold line is called folding.

The difference from the creasing.
Folding differs from creasing that do not use pressure with a blunt knife on the media, but simply folded cartons. Furthermore, folding is not intended for bending of paper with a high density of 170 gr./m² and upwards (there paper is described as cardboard) for this purpose using a process called – creasing.  Ad hoc basis is possible, however, to crease cardboard high density
